Located at National Grid ref. NO714577. Rebuilt 1791; steeple by James Gillespie Graham added 1842. The mediaeval kirk was dedicated to St John the Evangelist.

Denhead Free Kirk

Above: the former Free Kirk (later, United Free Kirk), just inside the parish boundary at Denhead, near Hillside. It was known as the Den Kirk, and would seem to have been the Free Kirk of Logie Pert.
